If your homeschooled child is in grades 3-8 or 11 and you wish for them to participate in the state testing this spring, please read the following information:
The West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA), which is a computer adaptive assessment, will take place in person and take multiple days to complete.
WVGSA is for 3rd – 8th grade students only.
Wayne County Schools will test during the month of May.
SAT School Day is April 16, 2026.
SAT School Day is for 11th grade students only.

The registration deadline is
February 27, 2026.
For those who register, you will be contacted by the school providing the assessments prior to the testing date with specific dates and times for the assessment.
