BASKET RAFFLE - BMS is raffling off a basket to assist with Student Activities. These funds are earmarked for Student Activities ONLY. Students and staff will be coming home today or tomorrow with an envelope with 10 Tickets. We are asking each student/staff to sell 10 tickets. We have plenty tickets if the kids sell these and would like more tickets. They bring the money in for the ones they have sold, and we will give them more tickets. If you would like to assist in helping sell tickets, simply let us know and we will get the tickets to you. The basket has over $300 in Gift Cards, Three T-Shirts, and a 30 oz. Stanley. The tickets are $2 for one or $5 for 3. Help support our efforts to provide more activities for our students. There will be a LIVE Drawing on our Facebook, May 31, 2024 @ 1:00.

BMS Herdiculture is having a sale today from 11:15 to 12:30ish. The Ag Program is facilitated by Jessye Shilot. We have fresh eggs, lettuce, hanging baskets, and tomato plants. Come out and support our kids.

We started Teacher Appreciation Week off with a bang! The morning started with doughnuts from Camden Corner, then our staff participated in the first round of our Survivor Challenge! We had a slew of grab bag winners, 1 big prize winner, and lots of fun and laughter. We can't wait to see who wins the grand prize at the end of the week!

Please see attached picture with upcoming dates for the end of the school year! June 6th is the students' last day, and it is an early release day!

5th Six Weeks Field Trip - All Permission Slips were due by Friday, May 3, 2024. We are not accepting any late slips. We have a cutoff date because we must prepare the purchase order and check in a timely manner. We only include the number of kids that we have with all paperwork turned in when it is due. This is a responsibility that we need to build in our students. We have received a few Permission Slips this morning that will not be accepted. We did have our Robotics Team competing last week and understood that those would be late. However, unless it has been approved prior to the date due, they cannot be accepted. I apologize, but we have to follow WV State Finance Laws that requires planning of time to get everything completed accurately.

On Friday, our HATS students experienced a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about Japanese culture while at home! We appreciate the MU HATS Program as well as WV Japanese Outreach at Marshall University for traveling today and helping provide the opportunity to learn about other cultures.
