Students will be bringing home this paper tonight if they have at least 1 unexcused absence this six weeks. Part of our upcoming incentive trip is that students cannot have any unexcused absences for the six weeks term. Please get these notes turned in to the office ASAP!

Congratulations to our band students for a successful concert on December 18th. Two of our 8th grade students - Jace & Richard - also performed in Spring Valley's Jazz Band Concert!





Baby Darcy is back home safe and sound! Thank you for spreading the word! The Lord brought that baby home!

Yesterday, eighth grade BMS students spoke with members of the Marshall men’s basketball team through a zoom meeting to discuss the Run with the Herd program. This program highlights the importance of setting goals, working hard, and being a strong member of the community.

Yesterday, we celebrated the holidays with a Holiday Hoopla event! Students visited stations, where they could participate in a cake walk, ornament creation, nail painting, card making, and bracelet creation. It was a great day with fun had by all!! We are so proud of our students who participated in the County Social Studies fair last week! All those who placed first will move on to the Regional Fair in Mason County on March 18th!

Go to www.wvlegislature.gov
Go to the Educational drop-down box and click on Page Program
On the application, choose Senate, then choose Sponsoring Senator (Senator should always be from the student’s district) and fill out the online request in its entirety before submitting. You can put Mrs. Hensley in as the teacher (Lnshaw@k12.wv.us)


On Friday, December 1st, we held our first incentive event of the year - Staff vs. Student Volleyball Tournament. Students were not only able to participate, but they also got free food and cotton candy! It was a great day full of fun, and we're already looking forward to the next incentive! Students must meet certain criteria to be eligible for the next reward. More photos will be posted on our Facebook page later today!
