Lights, Camera, Action! The SVHS Theater Department put on their winter production last month! The play, titled SEEK, is about high school senior Rob Radkovitz's quest to find his father. Inspired by his fascination with radios, Rob chooses to write his autobiography for English Class in the form of a radio play.
In an attempt to fill the empty space left by the man he's never met, Rob tunes into radio stations across the country and beyond to listen to announcers, one of whom might just be his DJ father.
Students put forth a tremendous amount of time and effort rehearsing for this play and it showed. From start to finish, the audience was drawn in. Congratulations to the cast and crew on a successful show! And a big Thank You to everyone in the community who came out to watch students shine bright on stage.

Zoey Adkins, Ryder Barry, Sophie Napier & Logan Turner recently represented WCS in the 2024 All-State Children's Chorus. They spent 2 day's rehearsing & performing with 230 students from all over the state.
This year's All-State Children's Chorus was directed by Ken Berg. Mr Berg is also the director of the internationally renowned Birmingham Boys Choirs. He had a wealth of knowledge to share with the students. It was a great experience for everyone involved! Congratulations Zoey, Ryder, Sophie, and Logan!

5th Graders at Kellogg Elementary recently finished up their unit on stars. To get a closer look at what they learned, they class took a trip to the SkyLab! The students had a great time immersing themselves in outer space.

Any monetary donations are extremely helpful, but you can help a lot by simply liking and sharing this post as well as participating in the challenges throughout the day on March 20th.

This week we are highlighting the Governor's STEM Institute for 7th graders at WVU and 8th graders at the Green Bank Observatory!

Fort Gay PK-8 will release at 10:AM, Monday March 11th due to a water outage.
This ground beef was raised and processed by students at Tolsia High School. Later this month, cooks at THS are going to use that meat for two farm to table lunches.
- March 15th, Hamburgers
- March 20th, Spaghetti w/meat sauce
Locally grown/raised food tastes fresh and is extremely nutritious. Great job by all those who made this farm to table meal possible!
